She is retired from Quest Diagnostics were she was a project lead, prior to that she served our country as a Sergeant in the USAF. She majored in Environmental Science at East Stroudsburg University. Currently, she is a Democratic committee person in Collegeville 2 and also worked as Chairperson for Senator Katie Muth’s successful senatorial campaign.

Gary has lived in Collegeville since 2014.  He moved here with his young daughter because of his positive experiences of Collegeville as a Ursinus College undergraduate.  He is currently serving on Borough Council here and is on the Public Safety Committee.  He was born and raised in Pottstown PA, and knows our area very well.  He graduated from Ursinus in 1990 with a degree in Economics/Business Administration.

Craig has lived in Collegeville for 29 years with his wife Linda. They have three sons & five grandchildren. Craig is a retired toxicologist and chemical industry executive. He received his PhD in toxicology from Utah State University. He has served on several local not-for-profit Boards, including the United Fund of Collegeville/Trappe and the Community Music School. He volunteers at the Norristown Hospitality Center and The Literacy Council of Norristown helping folks in need.

Dr. Reena Kolar was appointed to the Perkiomen Valley School Board in February 2018. She currently serves on the Curriculum Committee, Facilities Use Committee and the Mental Health & Wellness Committee. She has also been on the Board of the PVSD Foundation since 2017. Reena’s vision for the PV School District includes expanding mental health & wellness programs, creating safe and inclusive environments for students and staff, and improving connections between the district and the community.

Sarah Evans-Brockett was appointed to the Perkiomen Valley School Board in November 2017. She has served as Vice-President of the Board since June 2018.
Sarah created and manages the PV Power Packs Program, a weekend food program for students in Perkiomen Valley School District who experience food insecurity.

Matthew Dorr was appointed to the Perkiomen Valley School Board in June 2018 and serves on numerous committees, including Finance, Safety & Operations, School Wellness, and Technology Advisory. Matt benefited from an exceptional public school education, which developed his desire to be involved with the School Board to ensure PVSD offers the most robust experience to every student.

Laura White has been a Perkiomen Valley resident for more than 20 years. She and her daughter, who is a 3rd grader at Skippack Elementary School, live in Skippack Township. Laura has been involved with the Skippack Home & School since 2016. She has volunteered in classrooms and has coordinated and assisted with events. She has recently taken on the role of co-chair for the always popular and successful BINGO event.

Kim Mares is interested in bringing her passion for inclusive and equitable school environments for all students to the Perkiomen Valley School Board. Currently, Kim serves on the PVSD Superintendent’s Parent Advisory Committee and the PV Partners for Equity and Inclusion Committee, while also participating in the Delaware Valley Consortium for Excellence and Equity hosted by the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education.
